future second crossing community

stirling bridge, a construction company specializing in brownfields development, has purchased a whack of land along montreal street, right at the jcb (john counter boulevard).

this is where i'm talking about.

they plan on putting in 96 townhouses here "complete with parkettes, walkways along the waterfront and a preserved former Indian fishing site."

sounds intriguing.

check it out for yourself

what will it look like? here's a rather small and chopped off clue...

the jcb is the proposed site of the second crossing of the cataraqui river so i can just bet that the spurt of development along here will be greatly impacted by the construction of a big hulking bridge within the next 5 years (if council musters up enough gumption and cash to see that through). what with the davis tannery development and the wellington st. extension the inner harbour will be bustling.
